Assistant Chef - Hotel

 Winter 10/11

Alongside our Head Chef you will produce fresh homemade meals morning and evening, 6 days a week.

This role is ideal for someone with chef experience, but maybe looking for more of a challenge. You will be working to produce fresh menus, so lots of prep and presentation skills are needed.

You are working as part of the Hotel team so will need to be customer focused and team player. As some teams are quite small everyone will be involved in all aspects of kitchen work including washing pots and keeping the kitchen areas in a clean, hygienic state.  

 

 Requirements

Resort Representatives (November to April)

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work in our European and Canadian resorts for the winter ski season of 2010/11.

Requirements:

Pleasant personality, computer skills, a confident and mature outlook, excellent communication and customer service skills and able to exceed the expectations of our customers.
Ability to ski to an intermediate level.
Sales experience an advantage.

Visa required for working in Canada. We cannot proceed with your application if you are not in possesion of a working visa.

Winter 10/11

As part of the Hotel team you will be responsible for all catering within the Chalet Hotel. You will be an experienced Chef with the confidence to produce tempting menus, stick to a budget and lead your kitchen team.

This is a vital role within the team as chalet holidays are all about the food! Our Head Chefs need to be able to produce fresh, varied breakfasts, homemade cakes and evening meals.

You will have a Hotel manager to report into but you will be responsible for ordering, stock taking, implemntation of food safety procedures, and budgeting.
